I did it! My first real sports cycling tour
I’ve never been much of an athlete, and this was my first time on a bike in three years. So I was a little trepidatious at first. But there were other beginners there, too. And we got patient, expert instruction by a guide who led us at the perfect pace. Beautiful weather made it all the more enjoyable. I had no idea the parklands along the Tama River were laid out so beautifully, with baseball and footsall grounds, golf courses and public parks. Beautiful mountain views rounded out a superb cycling experience.
